Elie Samaha has listed the historic Yamashiro estate in Hollywood for $100 million. This iconic property spans over 7 acres and includes not just the renowned restaurant but also additional land in a prime location between the Hollywood Bowl, the Magic Castle, Hollywood & Highland, and the Hollywood Hills.

Built in 1914 by brothers Adolph and Eugene Bernheimer, the estate was originally designed as a “mountain palace” to house their extensive collection of Asian art. It features a variety of Asian architectural styles and includes a Japanese garden, a 600-year-old pagoda, and extensive landscaping.

The Yamashiro restaurant itself occupies over 20,000 square feet and has expanded significantly over the years. The property also includes a residential complex, a separate pool area, and additional space for development, though it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which may impose certain restrictions.

Samaha, known for his investments in real estate, nightlife, and film production, also owns the TCL Chinese Theatre and is a potential future co-owner of the Dolby Theatre, where the Oscars are held.
